Make A Great Delicacy With Live Lobster

Entertaining at a holiday party much depends upon the selection of meal. You can party during any time of the year, but it can be stressful when it comes to finalizing the menu for the guests. Sometimes, it's difficult to take time out of busy schedule to think of an exciting buffet choice like that of a live lobster delicacy.

The crucial factors to be kept in mind while heading to differentiate a lobster are its age, color, gender, and most importantly shell quality. If we first consider the gender, female ones are more preferred than the males. There are several reasons behind it. The breadth of the female tails is greater than the male.

Lobsters are some of the specific large varieties of shrimps and they come in very different shapes and sizes to choose from. It quality and taste is almost second to none. There is also the availability of the red and green lobsters and you could hardly make out the difference between the two. Cooking lobsters alive is one of the unique recipes, as far as seafood is concerned.

Starting from improvement of the lung functions to improved immune functioning, the seafood always appears to be the best consumption for all. Even in parties and special event arrangements, introducing seafood dinner is a great idea as it gives the people an opportunity to consume the food without any kind of health worries. Thus, not only for daily use but for occasional purpose as well, seafood dinner can be preferred.

Now you will think, "How do these lobsters reach at your doorstep so quickly and remain so fresh?" The key is in the way the lobsters reach you. Instead of passing through various channels of suppliers and stores, these lobsters reach you directly from the fishermen. That is why they are so fresh which you can easily steam at home to prepare delicious lobster meals.

Steaming - Take a large pot and fill it with seawater or salted water. Put it over high heat and bring two inches of water to boil. One by one, pour them in it. Cover the top and boil it quickly. Lobsters will turn bright red when cooked.

Get your pan filled with enough water so that you can hold the lobster and that too without spilling extra water out of it. The water that will be rolling across the pan must also be brought to heat. It should not be placed in the water till it gains enough hotness.

Italian pasta with the combination of shrimp really makes a great recipe. Pasta is never the main course of a meal. Two dishes are served, one by one, it is better known as the first course and the second course. This second is generally accompanied by a side dish of vegetables or meat and fish. Pasta dishes generally make a complete meal, especially if prepared with meat, chicken or seafood like shrimps. It will really make a grand combination. The greatest advantages of Pasta dishes are that it takes very little time to prepare.
