Easy Way To Cook Live Lobster

Some people do not like the idea to just boil the lobster. Typically, boiling is one of the easiest ways to prepare anything especially when it comes to lobster cooking. In the past centuries, lobster is considered as a food for poor people in the society but as time goes by, many fishermen are catching and sell them on the market.

Basically, there are certain ways to cook such dish and many people are considering it as a health boosting food. Individuals who are looking for better ways to enhance the usage of live lobster may find a good answer from it. It is identified that lobster is quite useful and can be prepared from soups to other kinds of dishes depending on the preference or taste of a person.

And since these animals are rich with nutrients and vitamins for all, it makes sense to prepare it. Just prepare these simple ingredients like water, lobster, and salt to get started.

The first aspect to consider is to fill up a large container with sufficient water. Filling the pot with four to five gallons of water can hold about six or more pounds of lobster. It would be better to place extra water than overcrowding the pot with a lobster. Once done, add a tablespoon of salt based on your taste. Make sure to use sea salt for better results.

Make sure to allow the water a full rolling boil. This rolling boil can be seen when the it does not stop boiling when you stir it. This is vital to ensure that it is boiling after placing the lobsters while minimizing the temperature from time to time. If you are cooking multiple lobsters, place them at a time so you can remove them at a time as well.

After waiting for the right time, find out if it is already cooked by checking the color of the food. A fully cooked meat has a deep red color while the uncooked ones have a charcoal appearance. It would be better to check the meat. Fully cooked ones have firm and white skin whilst uncooked meat has a translucent look.

Keep in mind that overcrowding the pot is big NO. Make sure to cook them in batches if you really want a delicious result especially when cooking in bulk. Cooked them nicely either with melted butter or lemon. You may also dip it in white vinegar for additional enjoyment and fun.
