You will want to pull them after the second pop because they will start to get a burned taste if you do not. Some prefer to pull them after the first crack. The choice is yours.
Roasting creates smoke if done inside. Be sure to open a window or two before you open up the oven door. Do this to clear out any smoke that comes out of the oven.
The beans need to be cooled after being removed from the oven. If not you could get burned because the insides of them have to heat up to such a hot temperature. Giving them an hour or two after they are done roasting should do the trick.
