How To Incorporate Stainless Steel Wall Ovens Into Kitchen Design

By Angela Price

The fashion of stainless steel wall ovens and fridges is expected to last many more years to come. The style gained popularity in 2011 when consumers became aware of its aesthetic value and hygienic qualities. It remains the most sanitary material for stoves, and while their look is an imperative part of current fashion, the style of the surrounding room is different.

It's popular to use plenty of white in kitchens, and this shade looks elegant and minimalist when used with appliances of metal. To add a dash of coziness to the room, exotic wood and oak are being used for floors and cabinets. A little white ice is appearing on the hippest appliances, but metals supersede these because they have now become classics rather than passing fads. They are thus expected to retain their role as one of the most stylish features for the kitchen for years into the future.

When silver forms the core of the kitchen, a more graphic look can be achieved using black and white in graphic shapes. In the past, only the highest appliance brands stocked metal double wall ovens, but today the look has become extremely popular. It is thus now possible to purchase these items at prices to suit every budget.

The tendency to hide appliances behind faux cabinet doors is still central to kitchen trends, but a more rustic aesthetic is allowing home owners to make their appliances an important part of their room design. To fit in with the country look, appliances have a more retro appearance, with oversized features. Plumbing fixtures are equally large in such a room, with bridge taps being the trendiest piece for this style.

A naturalist room can be created using a metallic oven backed by marble, graphite or quartz, which are used on wall and floor treatments. The earthen colors and textured materials are fashionable, and they work exceptionally well with metal appliances. In this kind of room, counter tops are often of wood, which means that the room has a vast range of textures. The look is brought together by the natural palette.

Granite is quickly losing its popularity as people increasingly choose quartz for its more minimalist designs. Concrete is being used on counter tops and floor treatments to achieve a warehouse style. This is paired with text based prints on wall treatments. The metal of appliances is repeated through other silver design elements.

It's becoming commonplace for home owners to invest in stoves that are commercial quality. There are a number of new ways these appliances use gas to produce a faster, more evenly distributed heat source for improved cooking results. High quality stoves are also being manufactured to energy efficient standards so that investors can save on monthly bills. Governmental programs such as Energy Star ensure that appliances are as functional as their less efficient siblings.

Appliances are being incorporated into a single product so that functional aesthetics are diminished as much as possible. Microwaves are set into fridges and stainless steel wall ovens so that the kitchen is streamlined. Multitasking appliances need to contribute to the style of the room without adding an awareness of their function.
